Olivia Bellamy

Olivia Bellamy serves on the Board of Directors of Bridgewater Academy, bringing extensive experience in event production, broadcast operations, logistics, communication, and community engagement. She is passionate about creating intentional, memorable experiences that bring people together and leave a lasting impact.
Olivia is an Emmy Award winning production and event operations professional with more than eight years of experience. Her professional background includes work with ESPN, the SEC Network, WCNC News, the Carolina Panthers Radio Network, and Spare Time Entertainment. Throughout her career, she has managed and coordinated nationally televised productions across professional and collegiate sports, news broadcasting, and entertainment. She also has extensive experience planning and managing corporate events, large scale gatherings, and full venue buyouts.
Olivia earned a Bachelor of Science in Communication from Western Carolina University, with a concentration in broadcast and journalism, and a Master of Mass Communication from South Dakota State University. While attending Western Carolina University, she served for three years as a mentor to incoming students through Project CAARE, which supports African American student retention and educational success. She is also a member of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Incorporated.
Through her service with Bridgewater Academy, Olivia contributes her knowledge of event planning, production coordination, communication, and audience engagement to support youth programs, community events, sponsorship initiatives, and organizational growth. She believes the most meaningful experiences are those that fully engage people, strengthen relationships, and create memories that extend beyond the event itself.
Outside of her professional and community work, Olivia enjoys running, traveling, attending concerts and music festivals, spending time outdoors, and experiencing different cultures. She values her faith, family, friendships, and opportunities to appreciate the beauty of the world.
