Eric Bellamy

Co-Founder/Executive Director

Eric Bellamy is the Founder and Executive Director of Bridgewater Academy, where he provides strategic leadership for youth development, basketball programs, mentorship, community partnerships, and international athletic opportunities. His work is focused on helping young people develop the discipline, confidence, academic preparation, and leadership skills needed to succeed on and off the court.

Eric is the owner of the Berane Bobcats professional basketball team in Montenegro. Through his international basketball relationships, he has helped connect promising student athletes with educational, scholarship, collegiate, and professional opportunities in the United States and abroad. He also serves as an assistant basketball coach at Carmel Christian School, where he supports player development, teamwork, and athletic excellence.

Eric holds a degree in Communication and Multidisciplinary Studies from Boise State University, where he competed as a collegiate basketball player and contributed to conference championship teams and NCAA tournament appearances. His experiences as a student athlete, coach, mentor, and team owner shaped his commitment to creating meaningful pathways for young people. His leadership is grounded in faith, integrity, accountability, and the belief that athletics and education can work together to transform lives.
